Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) I don't know how she does it... but Olivia Hadjiioannou repeatedly manages to create songs of three to four minutes so full of ideas that I listen to them over and over again. In those few minutes, there's always enough musical substance to keep the songs interesting and worthwhile even after extensive listening. Oh, and that voice... the icing on this tasty cake!

Panos Anastasiou First of all the vocals are amazing! I like the way OH experiment with her voice. The melody on the chorus is very beautiful! So... buy this song! share it and love it!

About "Love of Avalanches"

Oh. says, "In our minds, we are attracted to thoughts and thought forms that appear very realistic. Thoughts that rush in very fast, like an avalanche and sometimes these thoughts are not joyful. An avalanche is not a joyful event. This avalanche of thoughts disorients you, and it is very hard when that happens to release yourself from that. Essentially your mind is going crazy and running around in this small space trying to find a solution and nothing seems more realistic than this fast falling thought avalanche.

This place in us becomes a source of our ignorance. It becomes our first reaction to everything and that is the joker inside of us. The joker makes things look very realistic but this avalanche of thoughts is essentially fake."

The 360 Virtual Reality Video

OH. released a handcrafted 360° fully immersive video. The 360° fully immersive virtual reality environment was created entirely from a fusion of animated 360° panoramic images sequenced from custom handcrafted cube map seamless textures, video and music.

The 360-degree video is available for viewing on YouTube and for a fully immersive effect view using VR headsets or Google Cardboard.

The track will be available through iTunes, Spotify and other music distributors on April 7, 2016.

If I comprehend the gist of the lyrics right, I’d say there’s probably a lot of folks who’d relate to them now, during the current pandemic, pondering life/death while isolating. I still need to listen to a lot of Phideaux’s catalogue, but my intuition tells me this one will be near the top of my favourite Phideaux albums list when I’m done, if not at the apex. This is a great conceptual prog rock album. I’m late to the party, but better late than never! 8.5+/10. Alrihkh
